150 Followers Giveaway - Deborah Lippmann's "Glitter In The Air" + 5 Mystery Polishes -PRE Enter NOW!

I have to once again apologize for being so quiet lately. I'm impatiently waiting for my brittle ruined nails to grow strong again. It's going to be a few weeks at least, but I promise to ramble about other things. And I'm definitely going to show off my new polishes this week, less the swatches...

That said, I was thinking it's time for a new giveaway....with a goal though! 150 followers. With the success of our last giveaway, I thought, why not another? It's so fun! The prize? Glitter in the Air. AND 5 mystery polishes. (i.e. haven't quite decided yet lol) The good news? It's opened to any country, so if you have a difficult time getting DL where you're from, you will want to enter this giveaway. The catch? None. We just want you to help us get more followers! The sooner we reach 150, the faster we can open up this giveaway and spread the Lippmann love. We will continue to do giveaways at certain milestones. 300, 500, etc. So stick around a while. You could be a winner :)

To PRE-Enter, you can sign up here. You must be a follower. Just reply here in a post with your e-mail address. Once we reach 150 followers, we will keep the giveaway open for 2 weeks following the 150 mark, to allow for everyone to sign up fairly. A winner will be announced 1 week after the 150 mark.

For EXTRA ENTRIES:  If you blog about our upcoming giveaway, we will give you 5 extra entries. Just post a link to the blog here, and we will take note of that prior to the giveaway.

    My quest for the long lasting nail polish is still on! After gastric bypass surgery, I always had pretty strong fingernails and was "blessed" with those perfect almond shapped nails! But after the surgery, well...I guess lack of nutrients and malabsorption of things that make nails grow..they became brittle. Nailique which I used before just didn't do it anymore..I tried TIPS from QVC, nothing, then I found Perfect Formula in the pink or clear doesn't matter but it did make my nails stronger but nail polish still chipped after 2 or 3 days. I was buying Orly. It just wasn't working for me. Then I saw Deborah Lippmann on the Martha Stewart show...and as a former jazz bass player..well...she's a jazz singer...and I just LOVED the jazz names she used for her colors. Bitches Brew...Myles Davis...FABULOUS! I hesitated because of the cost...16 to 25 for nailpolish????!!! but I'm like hey, I'm worth it! Basically I do a coat of Perfect Formula as the basecoat, then Lippmann's CLEAR HARD ROCK, wait until it dries completely, then 2 coats of any Lippman polish.LOVE ruby red slippers, around the universe her glitters are awesomea little hard to get off, but I love it. Also read some reviews on temptalia.com about Zoya..so there was a special on that...so I tried it..while I like Lippmann's colors better, Zoya is a great brand and the top coat Armour is the BOMB! I want to try the China Glaze crackle next! My boyfriend thinks I'm insane with sooooo many nail polishes in these wild colors...but my QUEST for a polish that lasts on natural nails even while I'm washing dishes, cleaning the litter box, cleaning the bathroom....it all seems to be holding up! I also love the Mark V crystal nailfiles...unfortunately...the boyfriend is always bumping them off the tables and the bathroom counters, and then "accidentally" stepping on them...grrrrr...bought 3 sets from QVC during christmas...for ME...and now there's only 3 that haven't been stepped on! Can't wait to get the new Zoya promotion that was out last week BOGO...only spent a "modest" 18.00...but if it goes well..I'll buy more...while I love Lippman's hard candy...I think it makes a better coat for me...after the perfect formula, and after the polishes dry...Zoya Armour is a great top coat. Washed a bunch of dishes and no signs of chipping...but I wish it was a little bit I wish had a little more shine. Maybe its just the color I'm using! More later!

    Thanks for the comment, it took me a few mins to read it, but i also have the worst peely nails, and nothing works for me, well except for keeping them polished. Sadly, i still have yet to own my own deborah lippman (which i will soon fix, just looking for the perfect one to break my deborah lippman nail polish virginity,lol. Julie has a few, i think so far my fav is bad romance. Ive never seen one like it! It so gorgeous in real life. I did do the zoya bogo, i mean how could you pass on that, my fave is faye, just amazing! I will give hard candy a look!

    Also armour is the best top coat, I love the whole zoya system:) I think i should work for zoya, i talk about them all the time! Good luck in the giveaway and also congrats on the weight loss!! Im on medifast right now.. its ok so far..

    As to the nails growing strong, I totally know how you feel. When I'm really nervous I bite my nails and finals week didn't help.. I'm anxious for them to grow back and be able to go back to using polish! :)

    My love for nail polishes has grown exponentially in the last year. I used to be a big tomboy when I was a kid, and even through junior high and into my freshman year of high school I was never completely into girly things. At least until after my sophomore year.
