small collection post (well kinda....)

I took a quick snap of my wall nail polish collection ( I have more nail polishes in my Ikea Helmer).

All my Zoyas... my favorite polishes make the rack. Once in a while I will switch in and out polishes, but the Zoyas always stay. I am a Zoya whore!

If you are wondering about the gaps, its polishes at the bottom, that I have worn, so I know in the future not to where again for a few months. Don't judge me, it's my system!

I've been sticking to my no more Zoyas rule I set myself a few months back. Even though I have been tempted to get one of the new spring Zoyas, I have not given in! :applauds: (especially Neely!)

But I did paint my nails in Kieko this week:

Mind the horrible paint job, i did it while waiting for the girls to finish taking a bath, so it was def. rushed. And for something different, a coat of Fairy Dust!.. I do need a new bottle, for some reason mine has dried up a little.

What is the most you will spend on a nail polish?

I've ofter wondered who are the crazies who pay more then 30$ for a nail polish, for 30 bucks this polish better serve me breakfast in bed and drive me to Target! I think my cut of for a nail polish would be ..how much does a Chanel go for? 25-28 dollars? And that is pushing it. And is it me or is Chanel getting very lazy with the colors, white polish.. seriously Chanel. You are better than that.

Sorry, Tom, I cant spend 30 bucks on your very pretty but high priced nail polishes.

Okay all you Clarins unicorn pee buyers, don't take this the wrong way, but yeesh! How did you spend the money for this gorgeous polish without cringing when you hit the paypal button?

bitter.. cause Ill never own this beauty.

Sorry about not posting, But I have been doing my nails! I am just becoming increasing lazy with taking photos of them...

Lets do this cat walk style!

A new Holo from the  Color club line heavenly halos, seriously the most inexpensive holos I have seen in a long time, and real holographic colors not wanna-bees (I am looking at you Milani...)

This was a perfect greenish blue color from the set of polishes that I got from Sephora (on clearance!) The ring finger is this off brand nail polish that my mom got for me in a kit. It's gorgeous!

 I promised myself that I would not buy any more Zoyas. and that lasted about 2 weeks when I went to Ulta with Renee and grabbed it. I am a lost cause. 

Shame on us!

The post title says it all, shame on us! We have been so lax on posting that we need to fix this asap!

I do have to say that because we havent blogged (shame!) that my collection of nail polish has grown ... A LOT! Christmas was very kind to me this year, I recieved many amazing gifts (including the Cinderella Palette)

Ill do a post about my amazing Xmas gifts later ( I promise!) But I had to post these ombre nails that I had to recreate!

So okay they did not come out as planned, but I have to admit it was fairly easy to do! And the clean up is really easy. Plain water and the paint was gone. Make sure to use a nice coat of Seche after, it really makes the colors pop!

I also have given in and started to take biotin to see if it really works, after seeing Renee's very strong and long nails and HAIR! I sunk in and admitted defeat by buying a bottle of Biotin 1000 mg supplements at Target. Ive only been taking them for about a week and a half so nothing as of yet, but I will keep on keeping on and report back results.

Hey all!

So sorry about my lack of posts but life and that bitch hurricane Sandy got in my way! I live on staten island so it's a bit of a disaster still over here, luckily the family I work for and me as well got out unscathed( except no hot water and electricity for a few days). We were pretty lucky, but we didn't have net for a bit and my network for my phone was pretty much a message saying Um no try again. They like to call it "searching" But I can not complain, I am alive and have a home.

 Any hoo, I feel awful for the lack of posts on this blog, Gotta get it back to everyday status like it was last year! but Ill shut up for now, and post my lastest manicure:

It's an Iphone pic sorry! I didn't have my camera card so I couldn't take an pics! But I got it back yesterday but this manicure looks like some crazy person chewed it off...:shifts and whistles:.
Sorry when I get nervous, I chew my nail polish off. Sexy, I know.

If you are wondering this is one of the new Wet N wilds called Dancer is the best Reindeer and underneath it  is Raven by Zoya. An awesome cream black that is opaque in two coats.

Zoya addiction...

Yes its true, I have an addiction to Zoya. I abstained from buying new zoyas for as long as I could, but I gave in and used my zoya love rewards and came away with Paloma, Fei Fei and Daul.  What can I say I am a lost cause!

Paloma is a gorgeous glossy burgandy color that I wore for about a day before I topped it off with Fei Fei. I can not even discribe how amazing this color is. Ive never seen another color like this, why cant other brands come out with shades like this? Chanel are you listening? What about you Mac?

I don't have the heart to trim the ring finger nail, it's the longest I have ever seen it grow!

I can't get over how amazing this color layering came out! I am so glad I got bored and did this, yay for boredom! But I must get going for now- dinner to cook!
